Grille

The grille is the main auxiliary equipment in sewage treatment. The grid is generally composed of a group of parallel grids, which are placed obliquely at the entrance of the pumping station's collection tank. The inclination angle is 60°~80°. A workbench should be set behind the grille, which should generally be 0.5m higher than the high water level upstream of the grille. For the grids for manual slag removal, the length of the workbench along the water flow direction is not less than 1.2m, for the grids for mechanical slag removal, the length is not less than 1.5m, and the width of the aisles on both sides is not less than 0.7m.
